Ubuntu running on P990i? {Engadget}
Apr 16th 2007 12:26PM Looks like fake indeed. Wish it was true thought. UIQ3 that is currently running on the P990 sucks. Not only is there a lack of good software, but the system itself is crappy. Not AS crappy as Windows Mobile though. If someone could hack the P990 to run Linux with support for the camera and to make phone-calls (d'oh), i'd be the first in line.
Sony Ericsson announces HBV-100 Bluetooth VoIP kit {Engadget}
Dec 6th 2006 12:00AM Well, as far as the Mac-support goes, we don't really need it. Setting up a BT-headset on a Mac is not really complicated (in contrast to Windows). Therefore we don't need any combo-solution.
I've been using my SonyEricsson headset with my Mac and Skype (and Project Gizmo) for quite some time now, and it works like a charm. However, a while back I tried to offer my Dad the same solution to his Windows laptop, but ended up giving up. Sure I were able to pair the device fine, but every time before making a phone-call it took about 3-4 minutes to get everything set up. On the Mac, the bt-headset automatically connects upon an incoming call (if Skype if configured to use it).

That's quite simple. If they made unlimited number of these things, they wouldn't be that exclusive. If they weren't that exclusive, non of the high-end celebs. would wear/use them. If the high-end celebs. wouldn't be using them, they wouldn't get as much press. It's quite simple. I don't think LV ever been interested in reaching out to the big mass, they want to remain their brand exclusive.
