Jan 10th 2010 7:23PM After Johnny left, I wasn't sure anybody could replace him. But I think Jay did a fine job and beat the pants off Letterman for 16 years! NBC wanted Jay to retire to bring in a younger crowd and Jay being Jay went along with it. But as far as I am concerned, The Tonite Show belongs to Jay!

All the girls in my Gym class would Soupy Shuffle every chance we'd get. Our teacher was always yelling at us to stop!
Soupy was and always will be the funniest man on TV!

Nonetheless, it seems to me that our "taxes" these days end up giving aliens and lazy pigs who don't work but keep on f*cking and populating us with more lazy pigs who don't work a free ride!
I'm 63 years old and have worked to support myself since I was 16.........never got anything for nothing and still don't. As far as I'm concerned, the IRS has way too much power and are the most evil pr*icks in America!

After Idol pushed the "win" at Kris (jeez, letting AT&T give phones to Kris Fans, what Crap!) because they didn't like the fact that Adam might be/is gay. Dang, Adam is ENTERTAINMENT, incredible voice and range and far more marketable that the milk toast, straightboy. I'm not gay and that way of life holds no interest for me, but I don't give a flying rats butt if Adam was straight, gay, trans, green, or purple, he is pure entertainment which is what Idol is supposed to be promoting. Now with Paula gone...........there ain't nothin there for me!

But, oh how I miss Johnny! In my opinion, Jay was ok, but nobody will ever replace Johnny.

Increasingly, US Households Going Cell Phone Only {Switched}
Dec 19th 2008 8:32PM I was thinking about going totally wireless then we had an earthquake. My husband was running some errands and dropped my mom off at the hairdressers. I couldn't get to him on the cell phone and tried several times, finally I used our landline and bingo, it went right through.
Not gonna give up the old landline, too many earthquakes in good old California!
