Feb 28th 2011 1:22PM I agree with Barbara- James Franco totally cracked me up and had some funny one-liners. Anne Hathaway was adorable and gorgeous. I think they really played off each other very well. Billy Crystal is too out of the loop now. He was a good host for the '90s but let's move on, please. I thought the show was well done and was great with the exception of Melissa Leo's phony "aw shucks" speech. It seemed really contrived- f bomb and all.

Jul 21st 2010 3:30PM I think the one thing everyone agrees on is USC could not have picked a better person to take over as AD. Pat Haden is an exemplary man and if anyone can take USC to a new era of excellent athletics and ethical standards, it is Mr. Haden. That's a very good first step for USC.

prosthetic hand, new pharmaceuticals, and more will continue to
happen. Health Care reform is simply a way to get access to insurance
for more Americans. I am a Pharmacist, my husband is a doctor. We
see, on a daily basis, how private insurance companies who profit in
the billions, shut out people for pre-existing conditions, take away
prescription drugs from their preferred lists at will, with no
warning, because they can do so with impunity. With health care
reform, these companies can't discriminate against hard working
people who may have pre-existing conditions. Politicizing this issue,
calling it "Obamacare" is just stupid. Don't play the 'scare tactic'
with lies like 'death panels'. It's all about access to insurance so
we citizens don't have to foot the bill when people without insurance
run up huge bills (happens in ERs across the US right now). When we
all share the risk and everyone is covered, we can help pay for
rising healthcare costs.

Jul 21st 2010 12:31PM USC seems to be using Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo as "tainted" scapegoats. They were young high school athletes who were offered money, cars, etc by the USC Athletic program and boosters. To imply that these athletes tainted the program is just WRONG. Don't blame Reggie and OJ- it is the University, Coach Pete Carroll, the athletic department that was wrong and now have to pay. USC can't get away with "washing their hands" of the Heisman trophy that Reggie Bush won and think that they are free of the stain/controversy. This is a long-standing systematic problem that came to light with these athletes. It's not just USC, either. Please don't blame the student athletes, USC.

I have never seen two people pimp themselves more than those publicity whores. Heidi didn't even sync the lip synch and the dancing was so lame. AC right on!! BTW AC is out of the closet. I don't need to know the love life of a newsman. WHo cares who Wolf Blitzer or Glenn Beckis dating? I like Anderson Cooper and Erica Hill- they aren't celebrity posers like Speidi so I don't think their private lives are relevant.
