Feb 22nd 2011 9:00PM Yeah the Tesla's nice fast BUT way over priced and the two tested on Top Gear ran out of charge in about 30 miles not the 400 advertised, the first one took 26 hours to charge the second fried its speed controler. Not very promising a result from two ready to ship production items.
The Chevy Volt costs 43 grand no options offered at all except color. For 43 grand I'll buy a Camaro SS for weekends and a Focus for the milage for the week and still do less damage to the enviorment then either of these.
