Dec 20th 2008 5:43PM Wow that's tasteful. It could use some old growth trees but otherwise very nice. Nouveau riche, take note.
The Swarovski-Encrusted Lexus SC430 {Luxist}
Dec 20th 2008 5:40PM Why bother with the SC430? The design hasn't changed in nearly nine years.

Indian Creek Island, Estate of the Day {Luxist}
Nov 29th 2008 4:41PM For that price you're buying yourself a decorating project and a dock rebuild. There is better inventory available on the Island for far less. I never understood why someone would live there and not own a yacht (as evidenced by dilapidated dock).

F1 budgets off the chart, $4.3 million per point {Autoblog}
Nov 10th 2008 7:55PM I don't think it's the teams that are looking to cut budgets it's Max Mosely and the FIA. I haven't heard of instances where the teams are looking to cut budgets at all. Apart from Force India/Spyker/Midland/Jordan and the former Super Aguri team I can't think of any sponsorship problems. Granted I'd like to see a return to a full grid but I don't think some of the measures Mosely is undertaking are going to effectuate that, they're efforts to making the racing more equal. Call a spade a spade and say we want the second tier teams to have a shot too.
Sure budget beers got a boost, but is the economy the real culprit? {Slashfood}
Nov 9th 2008 4:12PM Schaefer? Is it 1970? That's like vaguely beer flavored soda. Life is too short to drink crappy beer.

Alchemist gold-plates an Aston Martin DB7 {Autoblog}
Oct 26th 2008 10:27AM They can't gold plate the trim because it's plastic and not metal. Hence the pathetic attempt at color matching with paint. The DB7 looks so old. So pathetically old.
