Apr 25th 2010 7:32PM No one mentioned the best undercut 'GOTCHA' in movie history. The video release of 'Top Gun' was spnsored by Pepsi, but in the briefing room near the end of the movie (before the final Mig/Tomcat fight scene) there was VERY OBVIOUSLY a Coke machine in the background. Thanks Pepsi for letting Coke get away with using you!.....LOL
Cathay Pacific Plane Makes Emergency Landing, Eight Injured {AOL Travel News}
Apr 14th 2010 8:22PM Let's compare: Sully taking off, not up to full speed, both engines wiped out.
These guys, coming in for a landing, up to speed, in line with the runway already.
Kudo's to both. But my money still is on Cpt. Sully.
Meet Hit Girl: The Coolest (And Most Controversial) Superhero of the Year {Moviefone Blog}
Apr 10th 2010 1:12PM Do the protesters not recall what happened to 'Married With Children' when it got protested. A few sponsors dropped the show, but many many more got on board and the ratings skyrocketed in nothing flat, all thanks to the woman who just had to stand up and say something. She enabled that show to soar all because she couldn't turn the channel or turn the tv off. The louder you pi** and moan, the more people will watch just to see what the controversy is all about. Thank you.

Veteran Sues McDonald's for $10 Million After Alleged Attack {Slashfood}
Nov 24th 2009 4:29PM Heather,
"Why didn't this man tell them the dog was an assistance dog. They have a special ID for this."
Uhm...Heather...NO THEY DON'T! I am required to answer only three questions by law:
1. Are you disabled?
2. Is that a service dog?
3. What task do they perform for you?
That is it. No 'special ID', no vest, nothing else. Nothing about my medical condition, nothing about his training, etc. Please get your information correct before posting.

Nov 24th 2009 4:24PM Tara,
These establishments do not get away with treating me or my partner rudely. Trust me on this. The local PD and SO know us well (not from complaints but from appearing at various exercises throughout the county, working with our local Red Cross, etc.). I carry several copies of an informational nature with me just in case. Most establishments appreciate being informed, not to harrass us but to help us and other teams. 99% of the time simply informing the manager/owner/etc. of the law in a nonconfrontational manner works. If it doesn't, THEN we upscale the fight. So far, not much hassle. But we do inform our friends, we call the local papers (if need be), and let EVERYONE know when an establishment refuses to obey the law. Often, well, they end complying or going out of business.

Nov 24th 2009 4:17PM Bobbie,
1. The only required by law for a service to wear are the vaccination tags and registration tags (if required locally). Proof of vac and reg is all that is required.
2. A vest IS NOT required to be worn by a service dog at any time. Most teams choose to wear one simply because it eliminates mnay questions. The ADA states clearly that no vest or marking of the service animal is necessary or required.

Nov 24th 2009 7:07AM HEY MIKE,
You, sir, are a moron. His dog is not there to attack, but to assist in healing. I am a vet that also suffers PTSD issues, and my partner, Blackbeard, would not attack someone. Would he go into a defensive mode, you bet. Teeth bared and growls are enough to convince most idiots to back off. Is he truly threatening, nope. I can understand where Luis is coming from.
I have been refused service, verbally harrassed, and threatened with arrest at more than one establishment. However, it is taken place at only one McD's. BK on the other hand is not friendly at all nor responsive to complaints. Most establishments give me no hassle whatsoever and in fact welcome me and my partner.
