Jul 19th 2012 12:39PM In Mountlake Terrace, WN there were homes built after WW2. The "Season Master" style had garage door walls that were set on rollers to allow the entire wall to slide into the home; thus open the garage to become a covered patio. The kitchen window had a pass through with a ledge for placing what was finished cooking, outside. I doubt most of the folks living in these Season Masters have any idea what is still available behind their closed garage doors.

What kept me in the business was "home prices never went down; but up: and that "up" generated the equity to pay the costs to sell and to buy again. This was the domino effect that did fund the real estate business and nationwide. The pin that popped the bubble, was wages failed to keep up with inflation, and contingencies failed to sell. It is fact:The real estate business, is in reality, a giant contingency) Now, the dominos are falling backwards and they generate foreclosures and this feeds upon itself. I am glad I am out of the real estate business; however I miss the action.
