For al you "free ticket" fans, what if you were on that flight, and caught something? THEN you'd reallky want that free ticket! The fact of the matter is that if the airlines, or anyone let this type of situation "slide" just so they don't offend anyone, someone's going to pay and pay dearly. Can you imagine what a "soccer mom" would have done if someone else kid showed up with "just a spot"? Next time, parents, think things through. GEEZ!

Feb 17th 2006 12:18PM You simply can NOT compare the new 911 to any production car, especially American-made; they are NOT in the same class. Yes, the Germans make you scratch your head once in a while (where DID they get those wheels? TireRack?) But Porsche is all about refinement, and evolving toward perfection. If you look at the specs, there is no argument. Look at the generations of the 911, there is no argument. Sit in one (have any of us?) and there will BE no argument. And none of us will ever take out a GT and the 911 and a Z06 to the trakc, which is where these beauties thrive, and put them through their paces. I bleed red, white and blue, but when I get behind the wheel, I better see that red, black and yellow. And the only reason my wife will drive the 750Li is so I can just go LOOK at the new '11 when it hits No-Cal. PLEASE....!?!?!?!?
