Dec 18th 2007 6:10PM Ok, Here's the deal. All of us Mothers want to give our little ones our very best. Whether that be handme downs that some one gave us or a $300 onsie. Get real. We do the best that we can and give our children the best. Not everyone is a millionaire. I am definitley not. Who cares where she gets her stuff. That is her business. If she has it let her get what she wants to. It is her money and HER children.
Is marriage a luxury item? {ParentDish}
Mar 9th 2007 10:29PM My Husband and I have been married for almost 16 years. We met oversees when we were in the military. We had a small wedding on short notice. Because He grew up in a different state than I did and didn't have time to go to both places we decided to have our wedding in my home town. Our families chipped in what they could and my reception was held in the basement of the Church. His immediate family was able to attend. I did not have everything I wanted at my wedding but I had the most important. Looking back the only thing I would have changed would be to have more of his family and friends beside him. Our total cost was $2500 and most of that was our rings. ( we bought a very nice set ) But now we live close to his family and I get to visit mine.
A marriage is hard work, it is give and take. Most times more giving than taking. It is sweat and heartache and love and happiness. It is tears and joy
If you are in a relationship and are considering marriage. Don't look at statistics, Look at each other and really think Can I give this everything I have on a good day, and evething I didn't think I could on a bad day. In bad times can you hold the other person up when you think you have nothing else to give and go to bed everynight and say I love you even when you are angry. Besides why become a Statistic Just because you can.
If you are in a truly bad marraige get out if you can. You will be much happier in the end. You might even find the "one" for you. But Don't Judge all Women or Men on one bad experience. There are exceptions out there.

Mar 6th 2007 9:49AM I have learned over the past few years to trust only an actual map. Mapquest is the worst of the maping sites out there. Rand McNally is Better but you still need to check a map to make sure you are actually given the best route. I have had several instances where I would have gone down the wrong road had I not checked it out first. A good way to test a Nav system or a Mapping web site is to get directions for a place you are familiar with and check it out. Also Look up your address on any of these devices. See if it is accurate. I live on a corner and MapQuest has my house in the middle of the block. Always keep a good old Rand McNally in your vehicle. This will help when the Nav or Web site puts you somewhere where you may not want to be
