Homeowner Confronts Naked Intruder Choking Pet Rottweiler, Police Say {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 5th 2013 5:02PM A justified shooting that highly likely saved innocnet lives. Even spared the attacker's life! And for the information of the uninitiated and uninformed, a blast from a 12 guauge is often a much more lethal solution thatn the .22 caliber bullets that are fired from an AR-15, and each round of 12 gauge contain anywhere from a single slug to 9 shots of lead in buckshot, to dozens of pieces of shot in birdshot. All of which are capable to doing the same damage as thes scary looking so-called "assault weapon". People in favor of gun control are not all stupid, but almost all are ingorant.

Dec 21st 2012 7:59AM Calling 911 is a practice in futility in most cases. The police almost never arrive in time to stop any of the violence, but only too late. The schools need armed guards, teachers and/or staff who are trained. Only an armed good guy on the scene stood any kind of real chance at stopping this attack short and saving some of the lives that were lost. Anyone who uses logic will see this is true. The courts have already ruled that the police has no duty or responsibility to protect us. They are simply a clean-up crew. Remember, when seconds count, the cops are MINUTES away.

Dec 21st 2012 7:54AM A "well regulated militia" as was spoken of in our 2nd Amendment means something entirely different if you study the constitution and the federalist papers. The phrase, "well regulated" means well oiled, well practiced, and able to work together automatically and to be prepared at a moment's notice to protect the family, town or city. Not "regulated" in today's sense of the word, or tightly control and restricted by government rules or laws. And the word "militia" pertains in most state Constitutions, to a group of men from the ages or 18-45. If you read your own state constitution, you may very well find that YOU are a member of the state militia whether you knew it or not! Militia does not mean an illegal group or a group of soldiers or reservists. Study before you post, and you will appear less ignorant.

Dec 21st 2012 7:44AM So AOL is taking a stand against our country's laws? I no take a stand against AOL. Your article and entire premise as it relates to guns is not only one sided, but decidedly knee jerk. Any company that would attempt to take away my right or liberty because of the actions of a criminal, has put themselves at odds with me and become a member of "the other side". You are either with America, or against us. I guess we know now where AOL's loyalties lie. The killings of these children were monstrous and terrible, but 100 million or so legally owned guns in America had nothing to do with the ones that were stolen and used by this madman or by whatever government agency that was actually behind this. One thing is for sure, the whole story stinks to high heaven, and should not be laid on the shoulders of the vast majority of firearm owners of this country.

Dec 21st 2012 7:32AM I agree with your comment right up until the point that you say that gun ownership is a privilege. WRONG! It is a right! While I do agree that gun owners should all get training and be responsible, and that gun locks have their place when/if children are present or owners are away, I stop short when you say that gun ownership is not a right. The 2nd Amendment clearly says "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." So work harder to find mental instability before a sale and put guns in a safe, by all means. But a thief can steal a car , get drunk, and then use that stolen car to kill dozens. Do we then seek to take driving privileges away from the owner or the thief? Do we seek to ban all fast sports cars? No. The gun control craze is manufactured/engineered, and many are falling for it out of emotion over the heinous killings of these poor children. This is the fault of the shooter, and possibly a lack of armed security in the school, but NOT the fault of an inanimate object. And not every gun owner's fault. Think, lest you be used as a pawn.

Dec 21st 2012 7:19AM Anyone who wants to ban firearms is like a chicken wanting to elect Colonel Sanders. Many believe that people within and behind our government are responsible for 9-11. After listening to the taped testimonies and law enforcement transmissions, also believe those same dark individuals and groups are behind this shooting, and that these children were sacrificed to further this ridiculous "assault weapon" ban. The sheeple are falling for it just like they did when the towers came down.

Abandoned Home in Queens, N.Y., a 'Den of Violence,' Neighbors Say {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 9th 2012 12:36PM Anyone who would call 911 first in an emergency and wait is an absolute fool. You secure your safety and THEN call 911. A rape, a shot, or an attack takes only SECONDS! How long does it take to get a call through and then for the police to arrive? Anyone willing to wait that long to protect themselves or their family is brainwashed, naive and foolish! The courts have already ruled that the police have no responsibility to protect citizens. That means it is YOUR responsibility! And for the OWS "Cameron" that thinks it's ok to B&E on private property because they need a restroom and a shower is part of the problem.
