Mar 29th 2011 11:49AM I think Kirstie is amazing. She's such a graceful dancer that you really don't notice she's carrying a few extra pounds ( and let me tell you, she does not look "fat" on that dancefloor. I think she already lost significant weight. ) Her costumes are flattering and tasteful. You can tell she is putting everything she's got into her performance. Good for her! Kirstie doesn't let the naysayers knock her down. I really admire her "chutz pah" !!!!

Mar 27th 2011 9:33PM I had a veggie burger at a place in Walt Disney World that tasted exactly like a steak burger. Also, I agree that Burger King's veggie burgers are excellent. Sometimes they are not on the menu and you have to ask for them, but they are very, very good. You can get cheese on it if you like and it will not taste any different than a Whopper.

Mar 18th 2011 10:20AM There has never been a reported case of rabies from a squirrel in the United States. It is believed by some experts that squirrels cannot contract the disease. Look it up.
However, if I was bitten by any animal, I'd err on the side of caution and get the shots.
It's possible that someone has been feeding the squirrel and he cannot forage for food, or the squirrel has a nest nearby.

Mar 18th 2011 10:01AM Low rise pants ( "hip huggers" in the 60s and 70s ) were ugly 40 years ago and they are ugly now. NOBODY looks good in low-rise pants. They make everyone look like they have short legs. High-rise pants make you look instantly sleek & slim and they make your legs look like they go on forever. A MUCH better look.

Mar 8th 2011 3:28PM Think of this: A train that makes an unscheduled stop throws off the timing of every train in the system. That 15 minute delay could cause a catastrophe, the least of which is a delayed arrival, ESPECIALLY when you consider that a strike was underway and the Railway system was under-staffed and over extended as it was. Maybe someone should have helped the mom with her stuff or maybe the mom should have moved a little faster. I've been on subways where I literally threw the stroller out the door, but my daughter never left my arms.

Mar 5th 2011 8:01PM What is so cute about this? The guy in blue is obviously the baby elephant's trainer and the animal's antics are for the amusement of the stupid tourists on the beach. I'm not impressed ... I'm outraged. It reminds me of the Gypsies I saw years ago in eastern Europe and their "adorable" dancing bears. What people don't realize is that the bears are taken over as cubs and then blinded so that they are totally dependent on their trainers.

Feb 23rd 2011 4:04PM You know, I think John Cryer, The actress who portrays the housekeeper, the young man who plays "Jake" and Holland Taylor ( Charlie & Allan's mom ) carry the show. They are an absolute hoot. The show can absolutely continue without Charlie Sheen. Also, I just saw Matt Dillon on "Modern Family" and he was hilarious. If the writers of "Two and a Half Men" need to pull in another actor who can portray an amoral lush who is still likeable and attractive, Matt Dillon would be perfect.
