Oct 28th 2012 5:09PM Yes the loan officers can be blamed for the mess the housing market is in, but the people that took the loans out need to be held responsible also. For quite some time people who should never have qualified for loans were getting them left and right; now a lot of those people are moaning and groaning that they did not understand what a variable interest rate was, or that at some point in time they would need to get refinanced to keep the teaser rate offered, if they signed for these loans without understanding them, that is on them, I am sure no one had a gun aimed at their heads while taking on a loan or a house that they knew they could not afford! Both are equally responsible for the mess that the rest of us are now stuck in; from the banks trying to come up with more and more fees to recoup money that they lost on home loans that were defaulted on to having to deal with empty, unsightly homes that have been taken away from people who could not/ would not pay their mortgages. Thanks to both selfish groups!

May 8th 2011 5:48PM DecoDecadence, I agree with you 100%! My mom maybe apologized once or twice for the terrible things she had told us as kids, but even then, we were hurt much more by what she said to us than what she did to us. Words cannot be taken back, even those followed by an apology. One would think that having a parent say awful things to you would make that person think twice before saying hurtful things to children of their own. An apology does not make it any better than not getting one!

Apr 5th 2011 2:07PM I would guess that anyone who doubted Denise about some of the things Charlie put her through during their marriage will now maybe realize that she was probably telling the truth now that he no longer hides the fact that he is an abuser, drug user, liar... Too bad his dad seems to not take his destruction too seriously, surely his family has known about how out of control he is for some time now. Too bad the justice department in Ca does not treat all equally, Robert Downey jr. and Lindsey Lohan both got jail time (albeit Lohans jail time ammounted to a slap on the wrist), yet time after time this idiot Sheen beats up women, destroys property, and gets caught with drugs (oh yes, lets not forget paying prostitutes for sex, well maybe out in Ca that is not a crime since not one of the men got busted for that) and nothing is done to him? Martin Sheen must "donate" an awful lot of money to the powers that be in Ca!!

That's right rosie, start something that has to do with race, we do not have enough of the "because I am black" bull going on, we need more? Apr 4th 2011 4:39PM Paula, I too wasted time and money being fitted, ended up buying a $60 dollar bra that does not fit properly at all! The lady who did the fitting was nice, but I know I need to wear a AA (try finding one of those that do not look like something a child would wear), and she insisted because this bra is supposed to make you look 2 cups larger, an A would be sufficient! I really wish I went with my gut on that purchase, if I wear a loose fitting shirt, the bra does not even sit on my chest, if someone was looking over my shoulder, they could see down into the bra!

Mar 27th 2011 1:55PM I think the "big deal" being made about the double being used is that Natalie is taking credit for almost all of the dancing. I'm sorry, but training for a year is not going to allow you to dance in the same way as a ballering who has usually spent many, many years training! I really do not understand all of the awards given to actors and actesses, like it is sucy a great feat to be able to remember lines, and use facial expressions; teachers, doctors, scientists..., those are the people that I am impressed with. It seems like almost every month there is one award ceremony or another, I cannot think of any other job where the workers reward themselves so often!

Mar 24th 2011 3:57PM Wow, must have hit a lot of nerves with this article! Why don't the mammoth mommies think about what their and their childrens weight is doing to the kids? Imagine the ridicule they are getting at school, heck even my daughter who is under-weight (not for lack of eating for sure, just very very active) gets made fun of quite a bit because she is so small compared to most of her classmates, and this being in high school (still don't know if the younger or older ones are meaner). I am astounded by the over weight parents (yes dad too) and children I see everyday, really, is it that hard to put a limit to the calories your children eat? There is really no excuse to be a fat family, parents with obese kids should be charged with neglect,plain and simple!

Mar 6th 2011 3:14PM I hope Miley did this in fun and not as an attack on this kid, I would like to hope so since there were so many personal attacks made towards her as she was growing up, I would hope she would understand that personal attacks towards any kid or teen are just mean and wrong. Hopefully the many shows on tv will stop using kids under 18 as punch-lines, there is so much talk about getting bullying stopped, yet when shows like tmz, and even fashion police, target kids, it is still bullying, only done on a national level for all to see. I cannot imagine what adults are thinking when they say horrible things about kids whether it be on-line, or on tv, from little ones like Suri Cruise, to older kids like the Smith's kids and Justin Bieber, as adults, we really ought to know better, i'm sure very, very few of us grew up without going through some kind of googy stage, either hair styles, clothing, what have you.
