Feb 16th 2010 9:15PM Lane Kifen? A 7th grader? Lane's no-record anywhere? And the parents are wondering what to do? I taught middle schoolers for 28 years. Let the kid have a life -- without Lane.

Sep 23rd 2008 5:03PM I'm trying to save money by NOT driving to the PO for these packages that weigh just over a poung. You can do postage online and it costs substantially less. Guess what? After four tries on their website today, EVERY one came back with a multi-digit system error. Had to drive to the PO anyway and pay more money, to boot. The postal worker told me that it happens to everybody. Maybe one in seven will go through. They want you to think this option helps. It's ponderous at best, and when you get to that last "continue" button, which confirms the address and lets you print, voila, sytem error. He suggested I go to eBay. And I never figured out why nobody complained when 1st class weight rate went down to 13 ounces, 3 shy of that magic pound...
Aug 1st 2008 2:37PM Big deal. I taught middle schoolers who wore $200.00 sport shoes to school (and this was in the sticks with no outlets). If had to wear the same shoes and stump all day long, I'd pay for comfort. It's not like he logs on to Zappos!
