Feb 17th 2011 7:33PM im 64 years old and was taught to take care of the children, keep a good home, prepare meals and act like a lady and not do anything to shame the family. my brother alos was taught to honor the family. perhaps that is looked upon as ancient and demeaning to women, but when i was a girl not many women worked and when the husband worked the women played their part at taking care of the home and family. this does not mean that the women is mistreated or abused it was just the way for a family to work. with both man and women working and having money for fast food not taking care of thngs and replacing them with new, or eating out perhaps learning to cook and do small things to save money would help some. go to the grocery store and learn to prep meals save money, time(you can freeze meals) and be sure what your what your feeding the family is healthy. but im sure there are women who will flip about this comment. just a difference in thinking and generations
