Jul 23rd 2007 5:07PM "who has enough songs?"
People who save their music as Wave/AIFF. I have about 40GB of mp3s and about the same in AIFF.
Jul 23rd 2007 1:40PM I'm with you - yet another 8GB or less player, yawn. How about a 120GB model?
Jul 19th 2007 9:46AM As to the "CD" quality, it generally isn't there - all of anti-skip enabled in-dash or portables (try to find one that isn't) re-sample the CD at low bit rates (equivalent to, or less than mp3) then buffer the data before playing it. Unless you have a very high end unit most home players have such horrible playback errors that again, the actual audio quality is much lower. That's why a check-sum rip in iTunes takes so long as you're actually forcing the deck to playback ALL of the CD.
Jul 17th 2007 10:37PM Yep, my "teeny bopper" daughter thought it was cool albeit not being lime green!
Jul 3rd 2007 2:37PM mp3Sparks has been up for a couple of months now actually. "A friend" has had no problems refilling the balance twice so far with Mastercard.
Jun 30th 2007 12:21PM The Helio salesman talked me out of the Ocean, claiming that the software was "not really ready yet!" Guess he didn't want to see me back in a couple of days?
Jun 29th 2007 7:29PM Au contraire - I have the iPod dock in my BMW & love it! Switching podcasts at illegal speeds with both hands on the wheel, what's not to like?
Jun 28th 2007 4:29PM Where does the country that invented the Frito-Pie get off complaining about a meat pasty?
Jun 25th 2007 2:24PM The RS Model 100 is still in use by reporters worldwide. Tough, battery operated, works with any phone system...when the story has to get through.
Jun 22nd 2007 1:49PM a browser & wifi - pleeeeeze
