Concorde Jet Undergoing $22 Million Recommission {Luxist}
Jun 3rd 2010 10:39PM While it may never return to commercial use, seeing it fly again would be great! Though I cannot imagine what organization could afford the insurance, maintenance and fuel. Certainly more of a challenge than keeping WWII bombers flying...

Biotherm Homme: Miraculous Powers of Soothing and Rejuvenation {Luxist}
May 19th 2010 8:56PM Granted cosmetics are a timeless part of luxury. But please put the cruise control on the article frequency. Page after page has been consumed by a single niche interest recently. Well at least for 45% of your readers that is...
Google wants to clean up printer drivers, offers unified cloud-based printing architecture {Download Squad}
Apr 16th 2010 8:32PM So very tired of printer "drivers" AKA "software". Printers used to just work. Even back in the 80's. Now you have to install tons of crapware on the off chance you miss something "critical". And everything MUST load during bootup. God forbid you want to print something later.
I have one printer in the house. When the ink runs out I toss it and buy another. Don't like I am not being green? Complain to the huckster printer manufacturers. I put them with their pricier than gold ink refills and bloated software only one rung higher than an inner city used car salesman.
Breaking: Silverlight now on 60% of Internet-connected devices {Download Squad}
Mar 15th 2010 8:19PM Keeping it off my PC. Every app that requires a new version of this or that to be installed from M$ adds to the overhead and upkeep. No thanks. I can't wait to uninstall one video editor that insists on VB.NET and SQL server. Too many things to keep secure with updates every other day.

Which Cities Are Ready For A Real Estate Rebound? {Luxist}
Sep 1st 2009 9:22PM As a former resident of the Tulsa area, I am not surprised to see it on the list. A few things to note though.
First, Tulsa did not experience the real estate boom like the rest of the country. And the "crash" was not as bad either. I can attest to this having refinanced during the boom and sold during the crash. Not much gained, not much lost. It just took longer during the crash to sell.
In general, the economy is not bullish there but stable. And recent visits showed considerable activity above the norm for Tulsa. Many upbeat, promising developments.
I do take issue with the "energy economy" there though. While there are still a good number of energy companies and will continue to be, considerable brain drain has occurred over the years as companies migrate to Houston.

Senior federal officials flying coach? I think not. Try looking for them over at the corporate jet hangers.
Microsoft Download Center Beta uses Silverlight {Download Squad}
Dec 30th 2007 12:03PM What is missing on the download page? A complete lack of anything impressive. Not sure why they are pointing out Silverlight is being used on these pages. It wasn't faster, there was nothing interactive and other than the "Loading" in the various lists I would have thought I was looking any other webpage. One of the pages I clicked through to didn't render well in Firefox. The text for the search box was slid way down in the some column headers. Looked like bad CSS...
