Tiffany & Co. Makes San Francisco Giants World Series Ring {Luxist}

Apr 16th 2011 6:33AM When I look at all the issues facing the United States and the world, the fact that a team of people could be this horribly proud of a symbol of winning that will sit in a drawer or a display case seems too far out there. Sure it is the American dream to win the World Series, but these people should rethink those rings, down size and spend the money on charity organizations, help for those with mental issues, help for the neighborhood youth and elderly. The true legacy is not in some ring but rather how you leave your community and its people. The SF Giants are a great team with great men, and rings to show their personal committment to the GAME. Look around Oakland and SF and tell me their isn't more important things than a bunch of rings. It is time for a reality check.

Florida High School Basketball Player Throws Referee to the Ground {Just So You Know}

Dec 19th 2010 9:37PM This action is unfortunately indicative of the student athlete where the coaching staff does not have strong enough consequences for actions that lead up to this type of behavior. DeSoto County Florida has only one high school. This student as with all students deserves a hearing and if found guility of the actions he should be expelled from public education for the greatest amount of available time by state and school board policy. If you have ever coach, ref'd or played you don't need this character around any body playing the game.

Famous Movie Redheads {Moviefone Blog}

Nov 12th 2010 6:57AM Who would have thought that some bottle redheads should be included and others should not?

Who says we love these characters?

What about the bald or balding red-heads? You included the departed and honoary red-heads.

I love the readheads but this article was dead on arrival.

Mel Gibson's On-Screen Comeback to Begin with 'Mad Men'? {Moviefone Blog}

Oct 7th 2010 7:05AM I have been a fan of the movies Mel Gibson has been a part of during his acting carrer. His personal life has been put in the press because why?

It appears that we look at those around us who are have some fame and determine their character based upon someone else's statements of fact and or fiction.

No one condones violence, but what do you really know? Where did you get your information? Are individuals able to change?

"Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone."

'Nina Simone' Biopic Moves Forward with Mary J. Blige {Cinematical}

May 15th 2010 10:13AM After listening to Simone and Mary it appears that both have wonderful voices. When anyone is playing another actor it is their obligation to fulfill and recreate that person. Few have managed to do so and as a rule the actor's attempt is, at best, a shadow of the original.

The viewer has the obligation to suspend belief as to who is who and to the degree of quality acting if even for a moment you can think "wow" I can remember that... or my, she/he is there and I can feel/believe it.

Bottom line, the selection of Mary J Bilge was for the box office. I ready to give her a chance...... I just wish that those who produce these films would also consider the story of Jackie Wilson and Big MayBelle.

Mom Who Cussed Out Principal Faces Charges {ParentDish}

Jan 17th 2010 3:01PM "LOFTY PERCH"? Amazing to think that believing that education and social responsibility is not in the same realm. Most state curriculums require teaching social responsibility because too many parents do not do there jobs effectively.

Evidently the experiences you see are terrible. If so, get in and change it. Stop sitting on the outside and abdicating your social responsibilities that would allow those behaviors to be acceptable.

Every part of this situation reaks.... the student was wrong that did
what was done, the parent was wrong..... and the principal was wrong.

No one was right this was a situation where people are behaving badly and the parent needs to be punished and the principal retrained or removed.

The student who committed the wrong needs to be suspended.

Your response is beyond wrong it is as if you want to be as wrong as the student who started the entire incident. Your foolish response does not solve the problem it just demonstrates that your ideas are as foolish as anyone elses who acted out this incident.

Think about it..... are you serious??

The student who committed the wrong needs to be suspended. This is
not a case for expolsion.... as much as you and I may want it to be.
