Dec 17th 2010 10:09PM I can't say I am surprised however I am surprisingly dissapointed. From the get go I never gave SGU a chance and at the start it was proving me right but then toward the end things did start to get a little better and I found myself liking it just a litlle.
Big fan of SG1 and SGA and still can't understand why they had to end. SGU never held a candle to them and now the biggest question in my mind is why does SyFy still consider itself a science fiction channel?
I see only one solution to this. If indeed the Stargate franchise does need a break then I say give them two okay three months then they fire up the stardrive on Atlantis and hyperspace their butts back to Pegasus or maybe even another new galaxie and once they start making new friends and foes I can guarantee the fans and the ratings will go through the roof.
Promote the heck out of it and make it out to be the biggest thing to hit cable in years because to us hardcore fans it would be.
