Windows XP users will be lost in the iCloud {TUAW.com}
Jun 7th 2011 2:06PM Not terribly surprising, Apple has slowly been killing off support for XP ore the past year or so. Had to jump through hoops just to get XP up and running via Bootcamp on my 11" MBAir (used Bootcsmp drivers from a genration older MacBook) as the newer machines only officially support Windows 7. As you said though it's ten years old and on top of that hasn't been sold for a couple of years now. Not surprising at all. Now the fact that Panther and Jaguar users are left out,THAT'S surprising ;)
Look out Fisker and Tesla! Lotus to jump into EV game! {Autoblog}
Jan 2nd 2009 10:58PM I don't see them 86'ing Tesla but I do think we'll see some interesting EV wars in the next few years. Exciting stuff!

Lotus powersliding into the hybrid car market {Engadget}
Jan 2nd 2009 10:55PM I still think Lotus has some of the best engineers in the industry, they've helped a lot with the Tesla development & others so their own car should have some superiority.

LA 2008: Lotus Evora makes it to the States {Autoblog}
Nov 25th 2008 9:24AM With "talk of an S model" I wouldn't worry about turbocharging it, just hold out for the S and you should be pretty pleased. The Lotus / Toyota combo is fantastic, the tried and true reliability of the Toyota mechanicals with the chassis & suspension engineering of Lotus makes for a great "exotic" that can be driven without fear of breaking down.
The only thing that worries me about this new Lotus is the following quote...
"will also accommodate a full set of golf clubs."
I really hope that doesn't set the tone for it's future owners. I see this as the ideal car for me as I think it will be a suitable replacement for my now deceased Elise, offering the fun & spirit of the Elise but with a backseat that my newly adopted kid can sit in. I just don't want to get lumped in with old fogies who chose this over a Corvette or Jaguar XK as their golf course transportation of choice...

Lotus Sport reveals 270-hp 2-Eleven GT4 Supersport racer {Autoblog}
Nov 25th 2008 9:15AM I'd like to see that sequential gearbox trickle down to the limited run Lotus cars, like the Exige S Club Racer. Can't wait to see how these hold up in competition. The standard 2-Elevens seem to be doing pretty well so this should atleast be able to hold its own.

Orange you glad Jason Calacanis let us drive his Tesla Roadster? {Autoblog}
Nov 25th 2008 9:01AM I think the Tesla Roadster is going to be in the same boat as the Lotus Elise in that it can really pull off bright colors. I think the "Very Orange" looks just as good on this as it does on my friend's "Chrome Orange" Lotus Elise.

Dodge EV takes to the streets {Autoblog}
Nov 17th 2008 12:11PM I agree. As happy as I am to see the "lowly" Lotus Europa getting some good exposure I'm a bit sad that it's being represented as a Dodge and that people won't really understand that. Americans at least.
Chrysler/GM/Ford all need to really study (not outsourcing the majority) the designs and innovations of already successful or up and coming brands to help them better innovate.
Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M {Luxist}
Nov 11th 2008 9:52PM Very nice! I'll take two please.
Review: Lotus Exige S240 {Autoblog}
Nov 10th 2008 6:14PM Ditto on the review! Magnetic Blue (or Persian Blue, can't tell exactly) is a striking color but I think Laser Blue fits the car a bit better. It's a little bolder and more attention grabbing.
Really makes me miss my old Elise, I was halfway saved to a supercharger when it was totaled :(

Lotus unveils even lighter 2009 Exige Cup 260 {Autoblog}
Oct 17th 2008 11:30PM It's kinda funny actually if you look at the list of removed items, they finally took the rearview mirror out of the Exige! I honestly wondered why (aside from regulations) it had one to begin with as there is very little to no rearward visibility with the Exige.
