Feb 4th 2007 12:51AM The evening started with his arrival at my door. I got a handful of little notecards that were blank inside and wrote messages on each one. There was one on the front door with instructions for him to leave the stress of his day outside, take a few deep breaths and then enter. Another card was waiting for him on the table to take off his shoes, empty his pockets of all the clutter and proceed to card 3. I had flower petals and Hershey Kisses on the floor leading to my bedroom. At card 3 was a little gift for him. Card 4 was on my bedroom door with another set of instructions before entering the room. Inside the room, candles were lit everywhere and dinner was served … real dinner/food. Dessert came later … :-)
