May 26th 2011 6:01PM Breastfeeding my 2 children for one year exclusively on breast milk was the most rewarding experience of my life. I do not understand why new moms are not encouraged and supported more on the benefits. Psychologically we all benefited.I never "whipped" it out in public, either nor am I a proponent of doing so. I raised two amazing kids, ages 24 and 22. Neither of them have any of the fictitious "issues" that the great BSer spoke of either. I guess in his/her little world negative attention is better than none at all, much like my dog.

Dec 30th 2010 8:17PM I am proud to be an Italian American woman who has the privledge of living in the great state of NJ. We are fortunate to have mountains, lakes, farms,(there is nothing like a Jersey tomato) and of course the infamous Jersey "shore". And we also have factories, industry and a few inner-city, ,not so nice areas. In that respect we are not all that different from most of the nation. But, for some reason everyone is fascinated with the perception of us that is being portrayed by television and movies. I cringed when I first saw the "housewives" from NJ. They are what we Italians call "cafones",which basically means uncouth,without class. While there are those from NJ that get offended by all the negative attention, I do not. I grew up vacationing in Seaside Heights and am kind of amused by it all. I somehow hope that this wave of popularity continues and that somehow it translates into lower property taxes. Call me an eternal optimist..lol And, please do visit and see for yourselves. I'm exit #150, if you know what I mean. :-)

Jan 13th 2010 12:16AM I feel duped, for sure. But, in all honesty it's us, the viewers fault for not paying closer attention to the timing of the show and the garden. Food Network deliberatly misrepresented the veggies, but had we been using our heads we would have questioned the authenticity without this article. The Obamas participated in the charade as well and should be held equally responsible. Once again, the teflon Prez is not the transparent guy he promised to be. As for the outcome, Mario and Emerilclearly were the winners hands down. They burned the radishes and I think that cost them. Their food did not appear to be as creative, nor enjoyed by the judges aside from that ravioli thing. IMHO.

You may not understand or agree with their lifestyle and the choices they have made but please don't criticize what you don't understand. I am in awe of Michelle's gentle, sweet way with the children and how she keeps it together. Surely, it must be of the Lord. lol May God continually Bless all the Duggars. I enjoy the show emmensley.
