Mar 25th 2010 10:15AM Being 67, living in very Italian south suburb of Chicago, I grew up not long after the Capone era that my Italian grandparents, mother and her siblings/friends were a part of. I remember stories about men who made money driving trucks with the illegal booze, and building were some of it was stored, and raids on those buildings with it running down the streets of the Italian area called Hungry Hill, shortened over time to The Hill.
Supposedly Capone's sister had a huge victorian style home in the area, and I happened to be driving by the night it totally burned in 1978.
And to Mr Carlozo, we were raised calling it gravy too.. it took years for me to break that habit.. :)

Mar 24th 2010 5:46PM I also wish I could turn myself into 4-5 people, be young again, and have all the work done in a room in 1-2 days, or even have the money to even get basics needed for some projects.
Before when I rented, these shows were cute.. now with my old family home, inheritied, I can't even watch them knowing the budget I'm on as a limited income senior..
some projects you need help.. plain and simple.. you need good help!!

It is an attraction for men, I can testify to that, but I have mine waist length for my personal enjoyment. I have the time needed to take care of it.
