Feb 26th 2010 7:17PM OMG!!! Shut up you whiny ass baby!!! I couldn't get loans of ANY kind when I went to college 25 years ago because my parent's income (somewhere around $80k combined at the time) was considered too high to need loans. My parents were 100% UNWILLING to assist me in ANY way to pay for college. I moved out on my own, got 2 jobs, bought a used car to transport myself to work and school and here's the real crazy part.......PAID FOR IT MYSELF!!!!! I did not receive any support or assistance from anyone and still managed to keep a roof over my head, food on the table and got an education. Lucky for me pasta was cheap then! You brats today are so freaking entitled it makes me sick!!! The world doesn't owe you a damn thing just because you happened to be born into it. It's lazy bums like you that have caused the financial mess this country is in. None of you wants to take any responsibility for anything you do. You want the best of everything & want someone else to pay for it!! Jordan, you say she's not asking for a handout, just what exactly do you think Obama's "Loan forgiveness plan" is??? A HANDOUT!! DUH!! Get over yourselves!! I'm all for helping those who are truly in need, but getting yourself into debt because you were irresponsible does NOT make you needy!!!

Apr 27th 2007 7:01AM MythBusters did a segment on the whole "toothbrush/bathroom bacteria." For their control, they put toothbrushes in the kitchen also. They found that there wasn't any significant difference where the toothbrush was stored and that the "toilet spray" didn't make it to the toothbrush! Maybe that will put your minds at ease. If not then how about the thought that ingesting some bacteria actually immunizes you from infection?? IE: flu shots are actually a live flu virus!

Jan 29th 2007 5:44PM I wonder if the same concerns would have been raised if he was depicted as a retail employee, an office temp or a hospital orderly, all entry level positions? As long as people (myself included) are going to eat at fast food restaurants we are going to need someone to work at them. The only demeaning job is the one you refuse to do!
