Dec 29th 2010 5:36PM Bet every penny you can scrape up on the Lions. If anyone was ever destined to FINALLY go out a loser, it's Favre. He had the chance, and should have taken it, to have gotten out with a loss at the hands of the eventual Super Bowl Champions New Orleans Saints. Now he's going out with a loss to the Detroit Lions. Count on it.

Dec 24th 2010 11:43AM How do you dumb bastards get these jobs? The main screen says "Sub, chips, cookie AND drink for $5", but the truth, as stated in the article, says in effect, Sub, drink, chips OR cookie for $5.
If you're just going to blatantly lie and ignore the truth, get a job with Fox. I'm sure they pay more.

Illustrious Favre Streak Ending Overdue {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Dec 14th 2010 12:34PM I hope someone else has mentioned Jim Marshall's 278? consecutive starting streak as a Defensive Lineman!!! Makes little Bret Boy's look about as trivial as it really is.
I remember when Holgrem first went back to Green Bay for a Monday night game after taking the Seattle job. Tons and tons of hype. Favre had a dislocated, broken, missing, amputated, I can't remember the details, thumb on his throwing hand and was highly doubtful all week. A less selfish, team oriented man would have sat out. He threw I think 3 interceptions in the first half and had two fumbles. Seattle was up maybe 24 at half-time and coasted the second half, but Super Bret kept his streak alive, apparently much more important to him than his team actually having a chance of winning.
