Jul 4th 2006 10:10AM I think that Weather Channel HD raises the greater question of where our HD priorities should be. Is it better to HD-ify those channels and shows which are "easy" to turn high-def? Single camera comedies, C-SPAN, etc.? Or is it better to prioritize those which really benefit visually from HD, like The Amazing Race?
I'm of the belief that if we get the easy ones done first, we'll have more HD cameras out there (and more HD-trained cameramen and producers, etc.) which can get spread around to all the other shows that are more complex to film.

Jul 4th 2006 10:06AM Everyone on here is crazy. If a guy named "Jamie" was running the show we wouldn't call it "cute." Just because it ends in "-ie" doesn't mean much and we've already been over the fact that guys can use pretty much whatever nickname they please. This is clearly a gender issue and we're all going to have to get over it eventually. Thomas "Tom" Brokaw would be proud.

Jun 26th 2006 5:40PM The Loop is actually a funny show. But since Bob doesn't like it, it only gets disparaged on this blog. I have an idea: instead of having the bloggers follow a show for an entire season, how about rotating? That way, if some of your readers like the show but you hate it it doesn't sound like constant and endless complaining with nothing new to add week after week? I know it sounds harsh but this blog has the potential to be something that welcomes lots of different readers with lots of different tastes rather than it being eight different "look at what TV this guy is watching" blogs combined into one.

Jun 24th 2006 8:22PM How come this show isn't in HD? It's filmed indoors and it wouldn't cost that much to use HD cameras (or just borrow some from Cowell's other show).
