Feb 4th 2012 4:03PM Grossly overpaid players, obscene ticket and concession prices?? Large groups of semi-literate cretans as fans?? Since the writer is in their league, it is not surprising that the tens of millions of college fans and the cities that host their events, was ignored. Madison, Wisconsin, Ann Arbor, Michigan, Lincoln, Nebraska are just a few of the cities that have all the sports that their schools provide, but legions of loyal fans. Pro sports are boring, scripted and pointless. Cheerleaders for am NFL team?? Really?? Two hundred dollar tickets and 40 dollar pizzas? Super Bowl weekend?? Traditionally a boring and ho hum afair with adnauseum hype. And even that won't draw 110,000 in person like many college teams do. Chicago has a selection of pro teams (mostly losers) and all the drive by shootings you can ask for. massive daily traffic jams and pathetic weather. Gee, I could live in Chicago, pay a week's salary to see some sort of pro sport and expose the family to gang shootings at the same time. Give us a large break Huff Post.

A wedding anniversary or any other event is just another day and if a guy doesn't want to dance then what of it. It is obvious however, that the NCAA is an irrelevant spineless, gutless and crooked organization that Congress needs to put a stop to.
