I voted down the racist comments and the anti-David Letterman comments and the pro-Palin comments, yet the system records them as positive ratings. It may or may not be true, but I wouldn't take what he wrote at face value - especially with the supposed perpetrator dead and gone, and apparently few (or no) other witnesses willing or available to verify the story.
