Airline Lost Your Luggage? They Could Owe More Than You Think {WalletPop}

Dec 11th 2010 10:57AM We were on own way to the Poconos, to our own special honeymoon. We arrived and found out there was no luggage! All of my sexy nightgowns when gone, my husband's Armani suit and my best dress, and shoe (Laboutin) were gone as well. We told the ticket agent and were referred to an 800 number.This was an automated number, but my husband made a complaint. We had to settle for what we were wearing and several new clothes the hotel had to offer. When we returned, I happened to see our bags sitting on a shelve that had unclaimed bagges. I talk to the agent there and he said our bags had gone all the way to Jamaica before they were sent to the right airport! We finally got our bags back, no recompense from the airline, because they did not loose our bags!

Passport fees to skyrocket by $35 on July 13 {WalletPop}

Jul 13th 2010 12:52PM I remember a time when airline travel was actually affordable for a family of five! Can you believe there wwas real food in real meals, for free?! an blankets for the kids and even a deck of cards to wile away the hours of the long flights to Europe and Asia. Passports and visas were only a minor inconvenience then. This is what de-regulation does while the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Is Someone You Love a High-Functioning Alcoholic? {That's Fit Canada}

Jun 29th 2010 7:36PM My husband is our breadwinner because I am disabled due to an accident and unable to work. He comes home at night and starts drinking. He doesn't stop till he is too drunk to stay awake. He is constantly angry and complains about everything from having chores to bills. (We have enough money to pay our bills and live modestly. We have a cleaning woman who comes once every two weeks to dust and vacuum. The rest of the chores fall to my daughter who goes to college,helps care for me and does the rest of the chores.) When I ask him to help our daughter he always begins to yell that it's my fault and I don't do anything; and he goes to work and so he shouldn't have to work at home too. I cannot divorce him because there is no other income for my daughter and I. He was in rehab once but says it's stupid. That's a dead end. What else can I do? Any ideas out there?

Natural Wonders of the United States {AOL Travel News}

Jun 12th 2010 11:22AM Soufriere in St. Lucia is ALSO billed as the worl'd only drive in volcano with busloads of tourists visiting the site daily. Also, I would not call the half-mile hike across giant razor-sharp rocks to get to within about a quarter mile of the Kiluea lava flows anything like easy!
