Jun 21st 2008 7:12PM Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are both men to admire - both billionaires and yet they have not let it go to their heads and are giving back to help people all over the world. I am sure Gates' children are already well-provided for and if they are half as smart as their father, will go on and do great. I read fairly recently that in spite of Buffett's immense wealth, he is still living in his same humble house in Omaha. Way to go, both of you extraordinary fellows.

May 24th 2008 6:57PM The Houston Texans had a chance to draft VY, now I expect they're glad they didn't. VY so far hasn't done too great in Tennessee. I hope his heavy partying/drinking doesn't win out over his quarterbacking. Being a religious person, I question the huge cross he is wearing. Not my business or judgment of course. I totally believe his story - I once ran face first into a neighbor's sliding glass door because I thought she had left it open. Anyway, Hunter is as nice a young man (super athlete too) as there is - and Astros fans are so happy to have him here with us. Just relieved he was not badly lacerated, i.e., muscle or tendon, etc.

Feb 14th 2008 6:09PM Kids learn early to crave junk food they see advertised on TV, etc. But this girl's choice of food is absurd. She will be obese, diabetic, just plain sick not too long in the future. I cannot believe the parents allowed this.

I blame the media mostly they seem to know no other NFL teams other than the East and West Coast teams and my particular gripe - "America's Team - the Dallas Cowboys" - whoever but the media laid that title on them?)
