Girl texts 14,258 times in a month, has sore fingers, and only 3 friends {Engadget Mobile}

Jan 14th 2009 12:05AM I really hope that that bill that came in was in electronic form, 440 pages of paper sent to a person to document "free unlimited text messaging" is a waste of resources.

By the way, a kid can often use instant messaging to conduct an entire conversation which may include easily 100 messages to and 100 from, but the phone companies usually dock those off as texts unless the customer has a IM client on their phone and a data plan. So this is not completely far out.

BlackBerry Storm buyer's remorse? You're not alone! {Engadget}

Dec 19th 2008 2:14AM No just No

Touchscreen Blackberry? That doesn't equate to a good PDA at all, the Iphone was a gimmick and the Storm is just another gimmick trying to buy up the regular phone users.

Vodafone demonstration video shows you how to use the BlackBerry Storm {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 15th 2008 8:09PM After watching the video, it seems that there is an inherent handicap with this touchscreen style phone. I wonder why RIM didn't want to put the nearly recognizable scroll ball from the Curve, Pearl, and Worldphone on the Storm.

This would help with selecting text and scrolling. Rather than always having to drag.

New Audemars Piguet Haute Joaillerie Pieces {Luxist}

Oct 15th 2008 8:00PM These watches don't look all that great. And seeing as the material they're using to create them are gold and diamonds, I'm sure they're priced way higher than a watch should ever cost. I guess I was never much for being a watch enthusiasts.

What I found interesting is that diamonds should actually be cheaper than the prices we pay, after reading http://www.diamondshandbook.com/ I have never paid another dollar more for a diamond for the premium of being able to say I bought a branded diamond.

Buy A NYC Apartment, Get A Free Bike {Luxist}

Oct 15th 2008 7:54PM I have seen some news related to giving away free cars when people buy your house but a bike is kind of unattractive. Maybe in NYC where parking is impossible than a bike is an equal incentive but being where I'm from a bike just doesn't scream out buy me in my eyes. I think offering up a free parking spot in NYC would be a great incentive, as I've heard those spots can run as high as rent itself for the lack of space.

RIM shows employees that rich people use BlackBerrys, as if they care {Engadget Mobile}

Oct 15th 2008 7:52PM I would think that the Blackberry is the first product on the market that regular people would buy anyway even if their famous celebrity stars didn't endorse it. But every little bit of publicity definitely helps.

Frankly I bought my first Blackberry because I wanted a phone to browse online during breaks in my school schedule it didn't matter that the Blackberry at the time was an exclusive business phone but the Pearl blended form and function for me, now I have a Curve and like I said I'd get another Blackberry any day even if my favorite rapper or actor doesn't own one.
