Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick Angers Hamptons Neighbors With Hedge Blocking Views {AOL Real Estate}

Oct 14th 2012 7:57PM I use to work with the upper end on design of landscapes. I always told them to design their property with privacy. Neighbors are just nosey and want to control. It is a preserve they do not have rights to view it. The govt is preserving it so it won't be developed. It was just a small barn to begin with and that is agricultural, not like it is houses.

Raquel Welch Takes on Porn Culture, Feminist Snobs {PopEater}

Apr 27th 2011 12:26PM Really, that's what you got. Okay she was very direct and honest. In hollywood you have to take care of your looks to continue to be relevant. At least she looks human, and quite beautiful. She has no problem with sex, she has problems with porn. Two different things.

Did Veganism and Alternative Medicine Kill Breast-Fed Baby? {ParentDish}

Apr 7th 2011 4:17PM Statistics your are stating are generic, not specific. We are omnivores and we need protein. You can be a vegetarian/vegan if you compensate for it. But my son for instance can't eat soy products do to a kidney defect. Yet he is quite healthy and has exceeded growth expectations for a spontaneous birth defect. The kind of meat makes a differences as well as how much. I use natural remedies if at all possible as well, but I prefer the concept of integrated therapy and and there are many more doctors certified in this now thanks to Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Oz. Stay away from extremes and look for balance. These parents did not monitor the child's well being during treatment and were not giving enough nutrition for the child's age, as they should have had solids by then. Ignorant parents who have learned a heartbraking lesson.

Tennessee Titan Jason Babin Talks Football, Family and Why He's Teaching His Young Sons to Hunt {ParentDish}

Jan 2nd 2011 9:34AM Hunting is just part of our world's history and also an essential part of our ecosystem. It is called the food chain. Responsible hunting benefits the environment and pays for much to protect our natural resources. The hunting areas in no means deplete the animals, they work to keep the animal populations stable. I would suggest before anyone disagrees, they visit one or go on a hunting excursion. You don't have to hunt. Respect for firearms should be taught to everyone at an early age, it doesn't meant they have to shoot. Some of the best naturalists I know hunt and eat their catch. There are idiots in any sport. My kids learned how to handle firearms early, not shooting till in their teens really, but learning the skills of patience, respect, safety and responsibility before they could handle one on their own.

The Top 10 TV Jerks of 2010: The Archie Bunker Awards {AOL TV}

Dec 26th 2010 11:12PM You know, it wasn't Leno who was the jerk it was conan. He's the one who pushed NBC to give him the slot five years ago and Leno said fine. So it tanks and they give leno his job back that he was and is successful at doing and holding an audience. Conan went to another network and well just how many viewers does he have. BTW, I love Jimmy Fallon a much better use of an hour.

Gordon Ramsay Exposes Family Drama In Open Letter {PopEater}

Nov 11th 2010 9:59AM I like Ramsay, didn't at first. The persona on TV is just what that is. Really though it is boot camp for running a M dollar restaurant he sets the winner up with. You have to take the pressure and put out. Like it or not you will get yelled at and treated unfairly out in the real world. As to his in-laws this stuff happens all the time. I'm glad he made it public so others can understand what people have to go through. I'm sure this was a last ditch effort. More than likely the dad was going to run his mouth too or to put the employees in the know.

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky Wed in New York {PopEater}

Aug 1st 2010 1:10PM I say bravo to Chelsea, but as to the other daughters. They are quite fine young woman who unlike chelsea did not have the press on their side.

Leigh Anne Tuohy, Mom Who Inspired 'The Blind Side,' Talks Parenting {ParentDish}

Jul 18th 2010 9:15PM Why does her story make people mad. Why is it racist to admit that people are of different races. I always get amused at police reports that fail to describe an thief's full description. Male, early 20's jeans, black hoodie and that's it. White, asian, black, hispanic. It would really make a difference in catching the fellow if they knew their ethnicity. She's say she didn't out looking for a big black kid. To me all she saw was a kid in need, who happened to be black. \

Leigh Anne Tuohy, Mom Who Inspired 'The Blind Side,' Talks Parenting {ParentDish}

Jul 18th 2010 9:12PM You missed the point. She is not the attention whore. It was a story someone thought worthwhile to inspire others, and it was. As to parenting skills, yes she did say her way wasn't the way for all, but you can also see they were talking about generic things. Not things associated with abuse or anger directed at children which is a hole other subject. When she was in the stores, she was interjecting when the children were being rough handled not because the kids were allowed to pull toys off the shelf.

Mel Gibson's Ex Tired of Seeing Him Painted as 'Heartless, Abusive Monster' {PopEater}

Jul 18th 2010 8:23PM Actually, this was a private outburst. I am not condoning what mel said. He has anger issues. But, this woman recorded this over several phone calls. When you know someone has anger issues, you also know how to push their buttons to get them to sound off. There is no one on this earth who hasn't lost it to some degree. I do think it would be best to let it settle itself out. Mel's family life until now has been pretty much on the up and up. Robyn is a straight arrow and respected by many. She also has her money. This wouldn't affect her at all. I think you have to look at people over a lifetime and not just an instant. No excuse for what he said, but really-some of this wreaks from being set up.
