They buy homes and cars and little things on credit they can't afford to pay for and expect the government to pay the bill using my tax money. The credit system was allowed and abetted by our elected officials to grow too fast. Be sure to vote next month.

Sep 18th 2010 10:07PM That is not the Tennessee river, The Tennessee river does not touch North Carolina. Also, that dam is owned by Alcoa, not TVA, but is a part of the TVA flood control program since is on a tributary of the Tennessee river.The story here is more inaccurate than the movie.

I think I turned out OK as a WW II survivor, a rocket scientist, a nuclear warhead delivery system engineer, a manned spacecraft and orbital laboratory engineer, a nuclear power engineer, and a nuclear weapons laboratory consultant.

Jun 5th 2010 9:23PM It's a great reminder to eat the right amount of food whatever your weight. It' a clever idea with a bit of humor. One can eat right whether they see the tee or not. If we did nothing to offend anyone there would be nothing left to do. I'm offended by the objections to the tee in question.
