Feb 24th 2011 3:45AM @Chris Rawson: I'm confused; the article you link to says, "Regular listeners of this show know that language is always in flux, so perhaps “alright” as one word is gaining a small footing." Doesn't that mean it's OK for Jake to have used "alright"?
It also cites two other sources as saying "alright" is acceptable. Merriam-Webster also says that "alright" is a word. It even explains further by saying that, "The one-word spelling alright appeared some 75 years after all right itself had reappeared from a 400-year-long absence."

Jan 18th 2011 5:14AM In the article you link to, Engadget says, "It seems likely that the device will land around April", which hardly seems to be an confirmed shipping date as you indicated by saying, "Engadget scored an exclusive over the weekend with a well-placed source who confirmed the iPad 2's shipping date". Either that or I missed the confirmed shipping date in both articles.

Nov 17th 2010 8:14PM ...so what is it like to work at Apple? From the article, the answer seems to be: don't express yourself via a blog. Perhaps the article headline needs to be changed to something like, "Apple's policy on blogging: Don't."
Sep 28th 2010 7:40PM "but his contract on 'Deadpool' was put in place prior to 'Green Lantern', which is why (presumably) he's allowed to go between both comic powerhouses"
I don't understand why signing with Marvel before would allow him to go back and forth. If that's the case, isn't that the same thing with Portman? She's signed on with Marvel already for Thor.
Sep 23rd 2010 5:25PM I'm with you on the storage/video part. If I'm on a longer vacation, I'll want to download some of the TV shows that I'm missing. Can't do that on an iPad, so I have to bring along my netbook.
Aside from that, an iPad is fantastic.
Sep 22nd 2010 4:33PM I was impressed by Ip Man. Hadn't seen Flash Point, and the fight scene you highlighted was very impressive. Thanks for letting us know about these scenes!
I must admit I'm not a fan of wire work in general, but particularly when it's such a central focus, as in Hero. I know people like it, but people just floating in air fighting just doesn't do it for me. But that's my own personal taste.
Sep 21st 2010 4:14PM "According to TMZ, Sorrentino bought a 2008 Bentley coupe for his brother and a slightly less expensive 2008 Bentley for his brother for a total of around $100,000."
So he bought two for his brother? What about himself? I thought the article headline said he had a Bentley?
