2013 Chevrolet Malibu leaks online {Autoblog}
Apr 14th 2011 2:25PM I agree; it has a very upscale and substantial appearance - very 'robust'. While others have mentioned similarities with both the Buick line and the Taurus, I see a strong resemblance to the Genesis as well. Regardless, this is still 100% unabashed Malibu - very impressive.
I am really looking forward to seeing this in NY, specifically in profile and rear 3 quarter views. I think the current car has aged beautifully and am still in *love* with the current models c-pillar/rear fender/wheel arch combo.
Quick Spin: 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist {Autoblog}
Apr 1st 2011 12:41PM Very impressive numbers for such a large sedan.
In addition, I like Buicks strategy of adding more standard features/charging 3K more for the LaCrosse. As it stands, there is only a $750 MSRP difference between the base Regal and base LaCrosse. This will allow more breathing room for both the Regal and upcoming Verano.
Cadillac brings back "Caddy for Caddie" promotion {Autoblog}
Mar 24th 2011 8:42AM Interesting choice of vehicle. I think Cadillac would have been better off showcasing/giving away a newer vehicle, such as a CTS/CTS-V coupe or wagon.

It's the color. It's only the color.

2011 Chicago Auto Show: Editors' Choice for Top Five Vehicles {Autoblog}
Feb 10th 2011 10:57PM I would have switched the Genesis with the TL and left the TL off the list all together...
Regardless, didn't GM report it was going to introduce TWO new vehicles, one based on the Camaro platform (ZL1) and an entirely new vehicle? Is this 2nd "new vehicle" the e-Assist Regal? Am I missing something?
Chicago 2011: 2012 Acura TL is the face of change... at least a little bit {Autoblog}
Feb 9th 2011 2:06PM It’s the first time I've looked at this generation without my eyes bleeding...
IMO, these subtle improvements greatly enhance the overall esthetic of the TL.
I still wouldn't buy one, though.
Rumormill: Mitsubishi to sell rebadged Infiniti M... new Diamante in the cards? {Autoblog}
Feb 4th 2011 1:33PM I too drove a '92 Diamante (my dads) during my senior year of high school. One of the best interiors of the 90's given its price range; I'd argue it would still look current in 2011. He sold it in '03 and had zero problems during its ownership.

Congrats on your Kappa purchase. I picked up an '07 Saturn Sky (Forest Green, tan/black interior) in October. While it has more milage then yours, the previous owners babied it and I intend to do the same (it is currently garaged for the winter).
The combination of gorgeous styling, relative exclusivity (you see MX-5's everywhere), top down driving and value (I practically stole it off the lot) sold me.
Practicality? Zero - thats what my Magnum is for!!
