I bought a pair about 2 years ago and although I love them they are only really useful for going from the house to the car, from the car to the restaurant/bar/etc. and back again. My previous pair of Tods driving loafers (non Ferrari) died a very rapid death because I tried to actually walk in them. Heaven forbid.

Have you ever even sat in a Gallardo? The chap I know who owns one is 6'6 and is perfectly comfortable when driving with room to spare. I am just over 6 foot and had absolutely acres of space to spare when I drove it. The seat was not even at the end of the runner.

Also as has been pointed out, the series is sponsored by Blancpain, hence the clock motif.

Nov 24th 2008 4:54PM Okay, I understand the reason for not having no brakes whatsoever, but why require two on the rear axle? I assume it is because the differential will make the braking performance dangerously undistributed? Why are they out board on the Tesla? The 300 SLR had in board brakes to reduce unsprung weight?
