Restaurant Bans Screaming Kids {AOL Small Business}
Sep 14th 2010 4:55AM Is it because this restaurant's located in the South where the old rule is 'Children should be seen but not heard' and they sometime's believe adults sit at one table and the children sit at another in houses? I've heard this quite a bit from people who've been raised in the South. I've never been to a restaurant that had to post a sign so stupid. Kids will carry on at times. Most will behave after the adult take's them aside and speaks to them. Why don't you put another sign up for adults who talk and laugh so loud they disturb even the kids meals.
Grandchildren are Wonderful, but They Won't Go Away! {ParentDish}
Sep 10th 2010 11:35PM Oh my goodness! Marcia, I'm going through the same thing as you only because of her mental condition (bi-polar, plus), my son has half a week with him and she has the other half, unsupervised. She's abused him at 3 mths and my son came with me with my little grandson (not married) and I had him with me for 2 years also until her mother got a lawyer, pro-bono, means not having to pay and the courts here in Florida gave her unsupervised rights. When my son picks him up he is so overly excited and happy and it's tearing me up inside to see how upset he is to go back. We had a lawyer but the courts just went along with the RULES. This baby refuses to eat there except what he has to, he has to go to occupational therepy because his low self esteem and he is so confused because they honestly are not a loving or affectionate family. We will never give up on him until there is justification. She wants my son back and my son has to be really nice to her for fear she'll take it out on the baby. There has to be somebody that cares enough for these children. I'll be praying for you also.

Apr 20th 2010 7:26AM I think these statistics are used to lure people into places they want to expand. Come' on! How would they know where the best places are for men, women, families, etc..? Most of the places they mention are getting poor due to our struggling economy. Get real!

Is There Sex After 35? Survey Says 'Maybe Not' {Lemondrop}
Feb 18th 2010 11:47AM I am over 35 and have strong sexual urges at times, but I think women today are so on-the-go at that age...working, cleaning, kids, trying to find time to pamper themselves..they're exhausted and men, it seems, when they get older become unfeeling and expect women to perform as they do...on the spot sex. We don't feel our men are turned on by us, even if we're knock-outs, because they're mostly addicted to TV and the time they use paying attention to unrealistic James Bond women scenerios, they should be concentrating on making us feel sexual. Over 35 women are not easily fooled anymore. We know when men lie and they all swear up and down the women on TV don't do a thing for them . Yeah? Why the hell are they wasting time on watching these shows? A smart man will use another way of relaxing when he come's s home from work, like maybe read a book or just take a little nap. The TV has become their pacifier and they all say the same thing. It relaxes them and tunes out their hard day. Well, women don't want to be used like an object on the shelf than put back until whenever'. We just don't want to start in the bedroom..we really want men to make us want them through the day until we are burning with lust for them at least once a week.

Student Braves Controversy, Refuses to Recite Pledge {ParentDish}
Nov 14th 2009 12:00PM I understand why people are angry at this. I am also angry that our country allows anyone to take any action against America they feel like. If you don't like America you are allowed to leave. If we keep letting go of all our values there won't be an America anymore. This will be a country of chaos and horror. Teach your kids honor and integrity and they will become strong leaders in the community to help USA. Cause them to spit at our Flag and Nation, you are bringing up disturbed children. We have to have better leadership or this wouldn't be happening. Respect for USA is at a low.

A Rose a Day Keeps the Divorce Lawyer Away? {Lemondrop}
Aug 21st 2009 10:13AM Couples concentrate too much on themselves and worrying about losing their sex appeal. There's so much to life that you can get involved with...the arts, learning to play an instrument, fixing up your home, writing, antiquing wood furniture, crafts, your own business, etc. Once you quit thinking your worth is by another's opinion of you, you will get to love yourself more and be happy living. Once you get married, you have a mate...now be the best you can be for yourself and that mate will automatically adore you for who you are. Vise/Versa.Your children will grow to admire and be like you.
