Mar 16th 2010 11:33AM you say keep the realtors commision !!! sounds like you have no clue how this works in florida here and in most states in today's market these homes are selling in what is called a SHORT SALE which means you may owe 200K on your home but its worth 100K due to all the forclosures in your area which sold for peanuts and are now your comps in which an apprasiermust use to value your home i will give the case in my own home i owe 208K it will now sell for 95k making me 113K underwater 98% of the properties in florida are in the same position there are very few if any homes selling that have equilty i am on the MLS every day talking with banks trying to help people with there short sales !!

Nov 9th 2009 11:56AM this artical is about as false as our goverment is !! you could not before and you cannot now take anything from zillow to heart it is an exploded value just like the rest of these so called sites suck as AVM MODELS the banks use to use when they wanted to refi your house and sink you further into debt !! you want the real value of your home look what sold in your neighborhood then you will no what your home is worth i am in business and i can tell you just in my area in florida a home thats 300 sq feet bigger then mine with a pool on twice the land just sold for $132,000 and yet zillow has my home worth $205,000 and that could never happen !!!!! when my comp is the $132,000
