Feb 5th 2009 3:38PM Yes, yes, yes! We don't have Mexican History Month, we don't have Portuguese History Month, we don't have Asian History Month, we don't have European History Month ... just Black History Month. Hum, sounds a bit one sided to me.
It would curb some of the hatred for one another and really help put an end to racism, but it won't happen. Too many people are proud to be held down, or put down, and others just walk on by telling them to get over it. This is a new day, there is no more segregation, there is no more slavery, no more hangings ... we're ALL free. So, lets all start acting like it.

Did you really believe that "Jesus Christ people." was a complete sentence? Your post told us a lot about your education, or lack thereof. Did you take in to consideration that some people may not enjoy reading, or may be dyslexic, elderly or physically disabled and truly enjoy watching television? Not everyone can be perfect, as you pretend to be.

Nov 14th 2008 8:06AM In the U.S.A. at 18 a person is considered an "adult," they can buy cigarettes, vote, and if they are wealthy rent a house or an apartment, and if they're trust fund babies they can buy a house. If a person is an adult at 18, the should be able to gamble and drink alcohol. I believe the age of "adulthood" should be raised to 21 for everything. Most "kids" aren't leaving their parents homes now until their mid to late twenties anyway.
In the "Indian" Casinos where I live in California a person must be 21 years of age to gamble. Where are the ones you are reporting on? I would like to take my 20 year old sister there for a night out. Ha.
Freecycle growing at double the rate since financial crisis began {WalletPop}
Oct 29th 2008 4:59PM I have checked Freecycle out a few times, but have never found what I was looking for. On the other hand, I can almost always find what I am looking for on Craigslist, however, over the past six years it has changed so much that I rarely bother looking there either these days. Greed has taken over Craigslist posters ... everything used to be free or for trade, now people are asking top dollar for their used items. I say it's better to "Freecycle" or pay it forward than to be greedy, but hey, that's just me!
