Mar 16th 2010 2:23PM O.K. Wycleff is not the President or dictator of Haiti. Also, Haiti fought for their freedom and as a a result they had to pay France back for winning their freedom from france. Like winning our freedom and then the country you win it for says you have to pay us for our losing. It is due to Toussant Le Overture that Haiti still can say that they fought for their freedom, unlike certain folks in America. It is because they won their freedom and the dismissing and ignoring of the Catholic Church that Haiti has been so down trodden and then this Earthquake. Do those of you who post your opinion read, do you do something other on the internet accept spew hate and ignorance? Do you Google or Ask.com or research or anything? My Mother always said "you never know whose a fool till they open their mouth!" Or in this case type some stupid stuff like God dictated the misinformation itself. But its all good, just trying to see what others think at times and enjoy some electronic discourse. whose Leader? God? To my memory, their leader was left at the airport trying to find a place to set up a temporary office. The reason why Hillary and others had to act swiftly is that Haiti has gone through so much even before the Earthquake that their government became almost inept, let alone able to handle this kind of event. Whose Leader are you referring to regarding placing blame?

Who the heck cares if he were a well-known plumber with a cute butt crack, the issue is not whether he raps or sings, the issue is the theft of funds. He was just given stupid sums of money recently to help those in Haiti. What will happen to it? What has happened to the funds? Case in point that is one of the reasons that he felt it necessary to move to another country, give up his precious property in California. We did not stick by him until after he was dead. We set different standards. I think Chris Brown was wrong for beating Rihanna. I also think that R. Kelly should be under the jail for having a knack for attracting, having sex and pissing on young girls. We need to know the rules and have them stand for everyone, not just Chris Brown. How many others who we purchase their music who are doing the same but they have sense enough to hush it up. How many are doing similar wrong and we still buy their stuff? When did we become moral police of others?

In the case of Chris Brown, I kind of believe if the unforgiving public, who follow all 10 commandments and never, ever make a mistake or do things in the dark that their own mothers would not approve, and will all go to heaven for always doing right and never doing wrong, Chris Brown is certainly Played out. When we stop acting as if what they (anyone in the public eye) is human. They do a job and get paid, it is just that the job makes them more visible. They piss, pass gas, put their pant on one leg at a time and yes, have issues with how they grew up and act very badly. If you did something that was clearly wrong, would you want someone to forgive you? Stop holding him and others up to standards that you could not reach up to even touch. Nuf Said

Yes, I agree penance must be paid, but I do not think he deserves to lose his livelihood. We have forgiven less for having done more. I am not sure whether I can, but then I don't listen or buy his music. However, for the young ones who do, just remember in your own lives to not allow anyone to put their hands on you and the rest, we can just hope that lessons were learned on both ends and we move forward
