Apr 14th 2010 10:51AM Bullying has been going on forever AND it is time they we, as a Society, no longer tolerate it. Even though a lot of Schools say that they have 'anti-bullying' policies most of it is just lip service. My son was bullied for years in High School. I finally went to the Division of Civil Rights and hired an Attorney. No kid should have to endure ANY type of bullying and should feel safe in his/her School. A lot of it is the fault of Teachers who do not know how to control their Students and a lot of it has to do with the Administration who fail to enforce School Policiy. Parents also have to be proactive and get feedback from their Children to see if they are bullied. Most kids are afraid, or ashamed, to tell their Parents about the bullying. Fortunately, my son told us what was going on and we took legal action.
