Confession: I hate my Apple TV {TUAW.com}
Aug 10th 2009 12:24PM Here is a solution for most of your problems for people with desktops. stop trying to add stuff to your AppleTV. Just stream it and it makes life so easy. The only time you ever need to sync content is if you are gonna have your system down.
I always wondered why people where so caught up with purchasing large AppleTV hard drives when you don't really need it. As for video quality. If you have a crappy video file you bet it will look crappy on the AppleTV, what else would you expect. But, high quality video looks great.
The only thing that I am upset about AppleTV is the updates. They could come a little sooner and the other is in the main menu. I would like my library to be at the top. I am not interested in purchasing or renting movies.
A netflix add on would be cool as well.

Mac Pro refresh brings high-end graphics to the Mac {TUAW.com}

To bad you reall wont be able to use the new LCd display with these new Macs, because the LCD display cord is way to short. You cant have your MacPro sitting on your desk next to you and it's impossible to have it connected and have the Mac pro on the floor. :(

MacBook Air hinge defect not covered by Apple's warranty? {Engadget}
Feb 28th 2009 7:34AM Let's see a $60 processor vs. a $300 processor. Which on is better with a greater longevity? I think you need to add the $740 you are going to pay for a new on in a year and a half and then see how much you spent.
MacBook Air hinge defect not covered by Apple's warranty? {Engadget}
Feb 28th 2009 7:26AM Let's just put it this way.
I. Apple has the highest satisfaction over any other company for almost a decade and the second place Dell again is not even close in rating.
II. You can pretty much get anything replaced at Apple for free. If you don't go in like a know it all ass hole. If you have a legitimate issue and the tech doesn't replace it the manager will. If they don't ask to speak to the market manager. More than likely it will get resolved then.
III. Expensive? If you customize similar options on a Dell and Apple you will fid them to be close in price, but it won't look 1/2 as good. You can't really compare a Honda to a Mercedes, but you can compare a BMW to a Mercedes. Once ya do you will see there similar in options and price, but still even then a Mercedes is just above all the rest.
IV. Every computer will have issues, but look at the computers that have the lowest % of issues. I would buy that one. Now with the unibody it is so easy to fix just about everything. Even a person with average intelligence can break one down and build it up.
