Leading Scientists Say Airport Full Body Scanners Easily Duped {AOL Travel News}
Dec 17th 2010 11:19AM
I just finished four flights from the Caribbean to California on
Wednesday and have over a million miles under my road warrior belt.
The TSA in Miami was so understaffed and inefficient that I have
written a letter to complain!
I always "beep" and know the drill for pat downs, but the TSA at the
x-ray checkpoint let my 6 year old wander around and did not reunite
me with my items for screening while I waited in the "corral"
for"female assist"for almost ten minutes! In turn, my properly packed
quart size zip-lock bag with my medicine and cell phone were not
retrieved and are now lost.
If you "google" the procedures in Israel, you will see that our simple
answer is approved volunteers at curb-side and pre-xray to keep the
lines flowing and adding much needed extra help.(maybe the national
guard for a rotation?)
I don't want to hear that these underpaid and undertrained MORONS are
working my TSA security checkpoints anymore! Mr. Obama, here's a
chance to get decent people back to work and offer BETTER security and
efficiency at the same time.....
The more people that complain, the better.....this is so easily fixed,
but SMART action needs to be taken!

The First Impression Can Be a Dealbreaker: Six Ways to Make a Good One {AOL Jobs}
Nov 30th 2010 3:32PM Sorry Sarah, this is job seeking 101. No chewing gum, no visable tatoos, and YES your bosses WILL look at your facebook, want to know if you've had a DUI, and guess what?!? They should hire anyone but YOU that thinks they should sue if your precious wittle privacy feelings get hurt. you would not make the cut at my company and I'd figure you out at the interview stage for sure....20 years of hiring people and knowing what questions to ask. good luck with your unemployment, do you want fries with that???
Luxury for Less from Ritz-Carlton in the Caribbean This Fall {Luxist}
Sep 5th 2010 10:27AM This is a great price and it will spark Cayman's economy and give jobs to the tourism sector. I agree with Marilyn, let whoever can afford it, enjoy!!! and AA is only $350 RT from Miami, a one hour flight to Grand Cayman.

Aug 25th 2010 10:17PM This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen and should NEVER be celebrated. If you gave:
1260 calories, 63 grams fat, 3010 mg sodium to a child we would call it "abuse". This is three days worth of sodium and two days worth of FAT.
I do NOT want to fund national health care to PIGS who eat this kind of CRAP.

Aug 22nd 2010 11:07AM Funny enough, I was standing on the Grand Cayman sandbar with stingrays yesterday afternoon and even telling my six year old daughter and five year old nephew how safe these creatures are! I live there and thousands of tourists a week have this fun, safe, and beautiful experience.
Of course, the stingrays who swim with the tourists are pretty tame and only looking for the tour guide's bait (squid) but it has to be said that these cartilaginous fishes are simple sea life and only a HUMAN could throw it's barb.
Something is fishy that a stingray barb went flying 8 ft through the air and impaled a child. The fishermen should have never attempted to catch and release the stingray either.
Sounds like another dumb human incident to me.

Jul 8th 2010 11:05AM What a joke surrounded by jokers. Let's fast forward ten years to hear about his wife, drugs, and tax problems as another pro sports star who belived they were bullet proof and ends up a laughing stock.

I Gave My Baby the Wrong Name! {ParentDish}
Jun 7th 2010 10:44AM My mother was named "Elsie" and it was innocent enough except most children knew thaty name for the popular brand of milk and it's Cow, "Elsie". My mother made her parents change her name to Suzy when she was only 7 years old!!! She is still Suzy to everyone today and it is a family secret as to what her birth name was.....so by all means, do not let your child be teased...change it and sleep well.
By the way, my mother is now 70 years old and has seven grandchildren. Every time a new one is born, she always advises that it should be an easiest name to shout across a playground! and also says you cannot go wrong with the name of a king or a name from the bible....sound advice from a little girl who changed her own name 63 years ago!
Happy Monday :)
Does Your Hairstylist Love You or Hate You? {Stylelist}
Jun 2nd 2010 10:51AM Okay with YOUR rules, but when I pay $150+ in an expensive salon to highlight, cut, and blow dry my hair, PLEASE respect my schedule and do not squeeze in two other haircuts while I am processing and then make me wait to finish. I've had the experience of 2:45 minutes which should have taken at least a half hour less if not for the greedy salon. I'k an executive and my time is valuable too. Also, get some decent magazine for those prices. I do not want to read a six month old gossip mag. Lastly, a cup of tea is welcomed and you are not allowed to gossip on your phone either!
