Mar 30th 2009 7:33PM "that it's not so much about the taste but the end result and morning-after-effects. "
I was thinking the same thing. The morning after is definitely rougher on most of the cheap vodkas.

May 5th 2007 7:29PM "GameFly isn't all that great - delivery is SSSLLLOOOWWW."
Agreed. It's painful. When did the east coast center open? My lastest mailer has a CA return address.
Oh and I accidently sent my copy of Wii Sports in a return mailer instead of the rented game. A month later they claim they got the mailer, but can't return my copy of Wii Sports! Anyone know where to grab a cheap copy? lol, gamefly will probably sell me one.
Over the 4 months of using them I've probably sent in 10 support emails.
Apr 16th 2007 12:20PM No Advance Wars? Blasphemy!
Mar 29th 2007 12:04AM I'm 29, have grown up around games, owned nearly every console, but currently only own a Wii. I don't have the time to commit to PS3 or 360 gaming and the Wii is perfect for casual playing.
And someone should tell this moron that:
A. Insulting your potential customers is a bad idea.
B. Why limit your customers to a subset of gamers instead of aiming to sell to everyone?
C. Many serious gamers laugh at consoles and stick with their computer.
Mar 24th 2007 11:32PM The really sad part about all of this is how much press this non-story is getting.
"Here is what they ACTUALLY used for the lifetimes in the study.
* Accord Hybrid - 117,000
* Prius - 109,000
* Civic Hybrid - 113,000
* Escape Hybrid - 127,000
* Insight - 109,000
* Hummer H1 - 379,000"
As far as the battery:
"NiMH batteries are almost entirely recycleable. The high-nickel product from currently primitive recycling processes can be used as an input to stainless steel manufacturing, but is only marginally economical for making new batteries. When used in making stainless steel, the recycled product displaces nickel that would be produced by new extraction, and IMHO, should be considered as a 100% offset to the environmental cost of the nickel used in the original construction of the battery."
Mar 23rd 2007 2:29PM "Advance Wars: Dual Strike's optional stylus controls are just that-- optional, and dispreferred to the traditional button/D-pad interface."
The D-pad is much slower than zipping around to various units with the stylus. Greatest game ever, I have over 500 hours in on it! Kinda sad thinking that's 21 days!

Feb 4th 2007 12:23AM Hilarious, rednecks arguing over exactly how they were shot.
Just maybe this girl isn't completely sane given her parents are shooting each other.
Feb 2nd 2007 7:44PM I've had a few of these now. Especially fun to see all the non-gamers step up and play. Rarely do any of them fight it.
