Oct 29th 2009 9:27AM I have watched this show several times. I am Caucasian. Tyra has the models portray alot of different cultures so I don't see why portraying an African American would be any different. Sometimes I feel like the NAACP and others raise issues that are unnecessary. This is clearly not a case of someone making fun of the race or trying to demean the culture in anyway. Get over it. Since I have not seen this episode the way the models themselves portray their makeup may be controversial but I am sure that if it isn't in a manner that Tyra envisioned she will make sure they are the next to be cut from the list of possible "Next Top Models" because anyone who fills that spot will need to be universal.

Jan 24th 2006 10:30AM I wouldn't want to be her. I have two great children, a great husband and alot of good friends that I don't have to pay or invite to expensive parties just to keep. I thought Paris was very pretty before, but lately she is very full of herself and that makes her ugly. It is funny to watch her when she gets out of the car and walks around waving and striking poses for the camera's we laugh at her now. How does that big head of hers even fit through a door. It does make me sick that she spends more money in one day than your average person pays out in mortgage payments all year. If I had her money I would do alot more for other people than she does. I saw a show on t.v. that her sister spent $30,000.00 in crystals on a cake on New Years Eve this year. I could have paid my mortgage off with that money and had more quality time with my family instead of working late everynight. You know money isn't everything, because their parents had money and they still probably didn't spend quality time as a family. If they did their daughter wouldn't have made that sex video. So no, I for one would never want to be Paris Hilton. I'd like to have some of her money so I could show my kids the world, but I wouldn't want to be her.
