Cross your fingers: Audi RS4 Convertible may be headed to US {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2007 11:04AM But why no Avant? At least it has rigidity on its side and is so hip it hurts. I sold my S4 Avant before moving abroad 6 months ago and not a day goes by that I don't lament her speed and utility. Then I see gas at 7 dollars a gallon in France and cringe at the memory of putting in a full tank every 3 days.

Warehouse Wonders: The Auto Collections at Imperial Palace {Autoblog}

Apr 19th 2007 12:21AM Another place with an even better "for sale" auto collection is at Galpin Ford in the Valley...They have this crazy collection of cars the likes of which I've not seen. I don't know if its open to the public as I was with a well-heeled friend in the market for an Aston when I got to see it. If it is, make sure to check it out.

Warehouse Wonders: The Auto Collections at Imperial Palace {Autoblog}

Apr 18th 2007 7:54PM I've been here...this place definitely has rare ensemble but most of the cars are pretty rough around the edges with chipped paint, crappy body work, etc. The best part, however, is reading the asking prices which are so outrageously over-market, you wonder if anybody has EVER bought a car there.

Baker Street, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jan 8th 2007 7:36PM that place needs an interior decorator in there STAT. And also, send those ladies next to the front gate back to Liberace's house.

Detroit Auto Show: Honda Accord Coupe Concept {Autoblog}

Jan 8th 2007 12:11PM Nice...if they threw in the sh-awd option with a V6 and a six-speed i'd be in line to buy one! But they'd have to nuke the Honda Service department in my hometown...what a fuckin joke

RR of the Day: Volvo 854 T5R - Super Swede {Autoblog}

Dec 11th 2006 6:47PM God bless the Volvo 850...this machine makes me realize how badly Volvo has gone astray in search of further market share. Tell me that the S60R is proof of high performance Volvo technology and it wont convince me...the R seems like a copy of a copy of a copy in this rapidly-shirnking automotive world. Volvos should have two driven wheels for one reason only: I had an 850 Turbo sedan in high school and it was a hell of a car...torque steer mania and that delta link rear suspension, it was quite fun. Clarkson's review of that car said, "looked like a brick but gripped like a drunk to a banister". 850s had buckets of character...something I am finding less and less of in these days of shared platforms and the pursuit of "aspirational buyers". I had an S2000 and an S4 avant afterwards but neither ever gave me a smile the way Turbonium did.

This T5-R is an amazing car...congrats to those who put endless hours of hard work into something so unique...a job well done!
