Feb 14th 2010 7:46PM You're so right. Any variation of the bread and tomato salad is the perfect meal. And when I use up stale bread to make it, I get the added pleasure of knowing my grandmothers would approve of my desire to be creative rather than wasteful.
Aug 29th 2008 9:16PM I'm Slavic. When I was a kid, my mother made head cheese. The flashbacks haunt me still.

Nov 22nd 2007 9:54AM I've made Paula Dean's pumpkin bars and they are FANTASTIC. Of course, I would expect no less from a woman who's deep-fried butter. I'm in awe of her.

You don't have to like Direct Mail or stop your fight against it, but you should know what to expect if you're successful at eradicating it.

Apr 2nd 2007 6:34PM I'm getting in line behind Pille and Stephanie -- the stuff looks JUST LIKE shampoo!
Dec 6th 2006 6:44PM I also find it interesting that we heard little from pediatricians about childhood obesity until it reached epidemic proportions.
