Feb 18th 2011 8:00AM If you were bright enough to own a business, you just might be fool enough to let your employees look at your books. You sound like a real winner there whoisdarr. A "union" for football players? Are you kidding?? THATS the problem.
Feb 17th 2011 9:59AM I agree that Wisconsin and it's fans went overboard with the win against Ohio State. You just knew they had no shot at beating Purdue on the road. Both Wisconsin and Purdue are good teams, especially at home. Wisconsin played out of there collective heads beating OSU, they won't hit 3's like that again this year. Trust this, the loss by OSU will benefit them much more than Wisconsin. And to those who say the Big Ten is not that good, wait till the tourney, they will have six teams in the round of 32 and at least 4 in the Sweet 16, just watch.
Feb 16th 2011 10:09AM So this is the "Best" player the chit city of Philly has huh? Seriously, Andy Reid would sell his soul to win a Super Bowl. The city of Philadelphia is at the bottom of any major city in the country. This is exactly where Vick should play. Have you ever been to the hole of a city? Garbage, it is complete garbage there. Vick "fits" right in there. He is what the city is. It's actually a perfect fit for him.
Feb 16th 2011 9:57AM a 10 year contract for ANY guy who is 32 is only given if your an idiot and want to hurt your ballclub in the long run. Pay him till he is 42?? LOL, son you hit 35 and your done, gone, bye bye. He's a "good" baseball player, how many World Series have the Cards won with him there? One?? Geeee, your so "great" and you have won one whole World Series, and they play it ewery year, over and over, giving you chance after chance to win it?? These players who you "fans" stand behind who win something once every 15-20 years and you think they "deserve" so much??? It's St. Louis, the fans, weather he is on the team or not, will be in the stands backing the Cards. Let him have his 3 year parlay with the Yankees/Red Sox/Phillies, who cares, they have all proven if you get ANY pitching they won't win it anyway. Let him WALK,,,,,all the way to New York where he and A-rod can pretend they are some great players and each talk of their whole ONE championship. Unreal. And some of you wonder why people are sick and tired of sports????? Please let every league sit out a year or two and watch the prices go down dramatically. He couldn't make 100k doing ANYthing else in life,,,,ANYthing.
Feb 16th 2011 9:45AM Without the officials, Miss. State beats them. One of the worst calls I have ever seen right before halftime. Typical Kentucky, backing it's way in to the tourney. Thyat team is pathetic for all the hype they get.
Feb 16th 2011 9:43AM Buckeyes came back and got the job done. Regardless what happens at Purdue, the Bucks, after they win their first Big Ten tourney game will be a #1 seed now. The Big Ten is so much better than the majority of you people think. Tell me even ONE team out of the SEC that should go to the "Dance", they are the very worse conference I have ever seen for the size they are. Even Kentucky stinks, and how quickly you forget the Buckeyes owned Florida, at Florida, just a month or so ago. SEC is terrible. I'll bet right now Vanderbilt goes farthur than any team out of the pathetic SEC.
Feb 16th 2011 9:35AM Agree with most. I'm sure he is a nice man and was a great ballplayer, but when does that warrent a "Medal of Freedom" award? Same with Russel, great basketball player but to get this......please. Another dog and pony show for the president to rub against his sports heros. Tell ya what, ANY man who turns 70 and has never committed a crime, has tolerated life here in America, put up with every Tom, Dick, and Harry we have allowed in this country, watched the prices go up on everything till having over 2 kids will now put you in the poor farm should get the "Medal of Freedom", in this rag tag country that goes down the toilet just a bit more every week.
Feb 15th 2011 10:14AM While many of you are here complaining of the costs and then threaten to stay away from the games and on and on. There are many others who have already sent in their money for their deposits for "Season Tickets" for next year. And, with the knowledge that if they don't send in their money for those seats, those same seats will be givin to the next idiot on the list for "Season Tickets". Now, this "fan" who has the "Season Tickets" can't mske it to one or two of those "games", so, he finds you, and sells them tickets to you at 10x the price he paid for them. So, the owners are bigots, the players are even worse, and the fans sit right next to them both, just as bad if not the very worse. So yes, it's Greed, at all levels by ALL participants. FANS ESPECIALLY. Some of you actual believe that these players LIKE and KNOW you. Keep in mind that the players and owners want just what you fans want, as always,,,,MONEY. Not a one of them gives a true ratz azz of any of you, except of course if your a relative, and being a relative, you want some of that salary as well. I would never spend a dime on any of them at any time or give you a nickel more than you paid for that ticket, plain and simple. If it is such a "Super Bowl" why do they play another one within a year?? Not so "Super" after all now is it?
Feb 14th 2011 4:52PM This loss for the Buckeyes will help them more than the win by Wisconsin does them. Wait till Wisconsin plays OSU in Columbus or in the Big Ten tourney, they lose by 20. Just wait and watch. Wisconsin is a nice team that's very good at home yet on the road, scare no one. They will win a game or two in the tourney, like always, then lose, again, like always. Ohio State NEEDED to lose a game, now, not later, and this loss does nothing to take away the fact they will get a #1 seed for the tourney. Ohio State is just fine getting ready for March barring no injuries. This team is better than what the majority of you people think. I have no idea what your watching. It took Wisconsin a small miracle to win it, they will never shoot 3's like that agin, especially on the road.
Feb 14th 2011 9:31AM Yes, fancy outfits to take away from the lousy music now on display. The entire grannys was terrible. Who are these so called "musicians" and what has happened to the music. I think the "egg" was actually Paul McCartney's left nut, as that's the only thing in common with lady gag and music at all.
