Mar 3rd 2011 10:10AM Couldn't have said it better myself, Chris.... have also been holding out, and while the better screen was on my wishlist, it was not THE feature that made me hold out, but mostly the items that were addressed in this revision of the iPad, so I am also downing the Apple Kool Aid and prepping my credit card for a super quick shopping trip to the Apple store.... finally the gap between my iPhone 4 and my 11" MacBook Air will be closed... :)

Oct 26th 2010 11:05AM just because Apple shareholders demand that AAPL does smth with their 51bn stack of cash, we will now hear a new takeover rumor every day.... Sony, Disney, Facebook, Adobe, am sure the list will go on.... tomorrow Netflix? any other company?
Am sure we'll hear a long list of take over rumors until they do get rid of their cash reserves....

Oct 13th 2010 2:33AM you need to have TinyUmbrella running, when doing the update in iTunes, I think it keeps it from doing the baseband upgrade.... more info here:

hope it helps..... I had to do the TinyUmbrella thing twice, until I found out to select the right "device" in its dropdown menu (left part of window).

Oct 12th 2010 9:32AM It worked for me, using limera1n to jailbreak, and ultrasn0w to unlock (SIM). Before that however, I used TinyUmbrella with iTunes to update to 4.1 firmware, keeping the old 1.59 baseband... if you upgraded to 4.1 and also the baseband, then it wont work.
You can find instructions everywhere, I liked the ones at iClarified.com the best.
Now using my Swiss, SIM-unlocked iPhone 4 on 4.1 firmware, in the Czech republic with my Czech SIM card.... and it rocks :)

maybe some new iLife version both for OS X and of iOS (iPad).... especially Garageband could make use of iPad functionality...
add to that refreshed iPods and the event seems complete....

Former Soviet states are today's CIS states. However, CZ, HU, PL etc. are former satellite states, which were under the influence of the Soviet Union, but not part of it.

What's new in iPhoto 8.0.2 {TUAW.com}
Mar 31st 2009 10:55AM I am upset with iPhoto 9 not being able to look up faces that i have assigned in photos with facebook contacts when I upload facebook albums... instead i have to decide whether to tag in iPhoto or in facebook.... anyone know how to solve that?
