Jul 26th 2008 7:22PM If they can't make in the NBA go for it, they will be wishing they were back in the States soon enough. I am sure playing a few years in another country would be a very good experience for most young men. However there will be only one NBA where the best athletes in the world compete. I will agree the NBA game has gone down along with the college game because the good player were skipping college or now only play one year. If they committed to 3 or 4 years they would get an education, life experience and develop into better ball players. The best player in the game played 3 years at NC and I am sure he would not have been as good a player if he played less there, he learned discipline and basic fundamentals. Oh I am speaking of MJ Michael Jordan of course.

The US should pull out of Afghanistan and let the good for nothing NATO allies handle the Taliban and Terrorists, they are more interested in attacking Europe then the US right now any ways. A vote for Obama is a vote for a Socialist State and the end of our country as we know it. Do you want Gods Bless America vote for Mc Cain, if you want G-D America vote for Obama! Jul 23rd 2008 5:30PM The media never catered to anyone like it does to Obama. This is a big problem because the media lets Obama get away with saying what ever he wants, does not give him any difficult questions or challange him in any way. If Obama gets elected he will fold under the pressure, he can't spend his entire time as president behind a teleprompter or avoid difficul questions. I firmly beleive he wants to turn our country into a Socialist State and burn up the Consititution.

Jun 15th 2008 11:23AM The refs in college basketball are much worse then in the NBA. I don't think this series was fixed, the 2 best teams made it to the finals, you can tell me that Detroit is better than Boston. The refs can only control the outcome of very close games. I firmly believe in the past refs fixed NBA games and conspired to have certain teams advance and believe Donaghy has a good point. The NBA should fire every ref and start fresh with new ones and make sure they are consistent. Basketball has gone downhill so far the last 10 years because the good players skip college and never mature as players and it carries over to the NBA. The league is a joke, players are way over paid, teams look to get players in trades with expiring contracts instead of good players, does that make any sense? Teams from the 80's would dominate the teams of today, the game was much more physical and players were better, I think basketball is the only sport you can say that about.

May 20th 2008 12:34AM The Ryder Cup means nothing, it is important to the Europeans because they do not have the World Series, Superbowl, Final Four, NBA, NHL, they just have soccer, and cricket which can be very boring. The USA has the highest level of athletic compitition and the Ryder Cup just is not that important. Plus the American PGA Tour is so far superior then any other tour, our Nationwide Tour is deeper then the other tours around the world. The Ryder and President Cups are just for fun, they mean NOTHING! The USA RULES THE WORLD and we will back with a vengance and everyone knows it.
