Feb 24th 2013 7:33PM The median income for a family of four in the U.S. is around $47,000. That means, by simple logic, your income has to be somewhere near that number. If it is not you ARE NOT IN THE MIDDLE.
You cannot make three, four, or five times that much and claim you are middle class. If you are really middle class your income has to be somewhere around the MIDDLE!
Just because you spend all your money on luxurious items and have nothing left to spare does not make you "middle class."
